If
you are visiting Bangkok and want to stay in a Bangkok
riverside hotel then we have a selection of hotels and
apartments for you. Why not stay on the banks of Thailand's
Chao Phraya River (The River of Kings) and enjoy all the
city has to offer?
But the Chao Phraya does not restrict itself to Bangkok; in
fact it travels just about 370 km. to the Gulf of Thailand
in the south of the country, To accommodate on the
Chao Phraya is to avail yourself of much of what Bangkok has
to offer visitors and residents alike.
For example there are many famous
and less so temples and palaces either on the Chao
Phraya or very close by. You can, for example, visit
Wat Arun (the temple of dawn) or the Reclining
Buddha, Wat Po. The Royal Palace (close by), take a
long tail boat or a bus (yes they have river busses
in the form of boats) or see some of the other
sites.
These include, but are not limited to, the
National Museum, the Wat Chana Songkram and
Bowoniwet and Matathat just to name some. Also in
front of the Grand Palace is Sanam Luang often
referred to as Thailand's front yard. Don't forget
you can also take a dinner cruise on the Chao Phayra
or just a normal tourism cruise either by yourself
in a negotiated long tail boat or a tour boat.
